FO Alert

Daddy, sister and brother hats ... all done for Christmas presents using a pattern from knitty. Miss Priss' was done with half stash, half special purchase, Baby Leo's was done with Lamb's Pride Nature Spun from the stash, SDs was in Rowan Cashsoft. Unfortunatly, his needs to be ripped and redone because it is way too big.

One super big sock for me made using Ann Budd's sock formulas and some nice Opal yarn purchased at the Knitting Basket. Actually, it feels great when it's on, but gets slouchy and slips off too easily. I'll get it right some day.

I have several other items finished, so there's more to come!

So is the sock from the Ann Budd pattern book that also has hats and gloves and such? I've been thinking about getting that. I used her sweater book for R's vest, Peter's sweater and my yoke sweater. I really love the hats, and unfortunately I would rip a too loose hat as well, I think hats should be snug.

btw, nice photos. I guess you got a camera!

Yes, it's the book with the gloves and hats. I like it since I can never get the suggested gauge on patterns, so I can do my own thing. As for the camera, these are from our digital video camera. Works OK for now!

Mo -- slouchy socks need ribbing. Give it a try. Love the colors in that one, though. Is it opal?
